Named NAPEW “Woman of the Year” in Women's Clothing Stores

LaGrange, IL – May 27, 2009 - The National Association of Professional and Executive Women names Mary Ann Doehring, Owner and Manager of Mary Ann’s Shoppe, LTD, “Woman of the Year” in Women's Clothing Stores. Only one woman from each industry is named “Woman of the Year” and each honoree is selected from thousands of women in their field. They are chosen based on outstanding accomplishments, leadership, and service and will nationally represent their industry in the “Women of Excellence” Registry.

Mary Ann has 50 years of experience in the area of women's clothing stores. As Owner and Manager of Mary Ann’s Shoppe, LTD, she is responsible for customer service and operational management. Mary Ann’s Shoppe, LTD is a local retail apparel store offering women’s apparel and accessories to bring customers a completely finished look.

Mary Ann academic accomplishments include industry related training and experience. She attributes her success to providing excellent customer service and the support of her community.

In her spare time, Mary Ann enjoys traveling and spending time with her five grandchildren. She performs charity work through various community organizations. Mary Ann is a current member of the LaGrange Business Association and the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce. Among other accomplishments, she is a past-president of the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and the Bellwood Chamber of Commerce. She was also one of the founders of the Bellwood Business and Professional Women's Club.

It is an honor to welcome Mary Ann Doehring as Woman of the Year in Women's Clothing Stores in the National Association of Professional and Executive Women Registry for “Women of Excellence”.
